In India, if you are planning for motorcycle tour then you are one of them who have taken a dare for a real exploration and adventure. Especially the roads connecting from New Delhi to hill stations and scenic places in himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Jammu & Kashmir are playgrounds to start the game for motor riders. There are lot to explore in these places, it took us i.e. ET (exploration team) , 3 years to explore and learn these places and we are still continuing the same.
ET (exploration team) is part of BikerZ sToP®, a research and development team which started since 2004 specializing the Indian terrain and exploring the various holiday destinations on motorcycles.
ET after lot of research decides on destination, where the prime role is to collect all important and extra information concerning the destination. This all information are fed into the structured template called as travel assessment template which is again innovated and unique to BikerZ sToP®.
So our, every exploration day starts at 2:00 AM with our squeaky mobile alarm, just to realize that we have just slept for 55 minutes. The excitement and charisma for the trip is so much that we don’t sleep for whole night instead we spend more time on talking and discussing about the trip. Every crew member of ET always decides to assemble a day before the trip at Arun’s place.
After a good bath we start packing our bags, loading some of the winter woolens, extra shoes, rain coat, Personal toilet kit, light towel, Cold cream & sun screen lotion, LED Torch with 2 extra set of cells, few extra plastic bags to carry or packing things, few energy bars, water bottle, Camera, memory-cards, batteries etc.
We tie our backpacks to the motorcycle. Our standard biker uniform for individual in ET is a pair of jeans with good rock solid sports shoes followed by a tee covered with all-weather biking jacket. Gloves and helmets are always mandatory. And at last we align our GPS for pre loading the routes.
And then the FUN begins 🙂 …….
